Issues in series of newspapers published in the Eanes area. Local and regional single issues and special issues.

The Eanes History Center Library has most of the issues of the longest published local paper, the Westbank Picayune. Publication was begun in 1976.

The Westlake Picayune began publication in 1976 and has

continued until the present. When it began publication, it

was much welcomed for the local and school news. Today

it is still an important voice for the schools and community.

The papers of the 1820s and 1830s have news stories of events taking place in Texas during that time.

The 1862 issue has articles concerning the involvement of Texas in the Civil War.
